Big Ten Reverses Decision, Will Have 2020 Season

Sept. 16, 2020 — The Large Ten has reversed a choice to postpone its 2020 soccer season and the league says it would start play the weekend of Oct. 24.

Simply over a month in the past, the Large Ten grew to become the primary main convention to postpone its season, however the convention’s college presidents and chancellors voted unanimously Tuesday to go forward with the season, the Washington Put up reported.

The league says it would implement medical protocols comparable to each day coronavirus testing and enhanced cardiac screening.

“Our focus with the Job Drive during the last six weeks was to make sure the well being and security of our student-athletes. Our aim has all the time been to return to competitors so all student-athletes can notice their dream of competing within the sports activities they love,” Large Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren stated in a press release, the Put up reported.
